The manslaughter trial of Michael Jackson's doctor, Conrad Murray, will be televised, dpa reported.
Judge Michael Pastor on Monday gave the green light for cameras to record the courtroom proceedings, and announced that the trial would begin on March 24, CNN reported.
Murray is charged with involuntary manslaughter in the 2009 death of the world famous pop singer, who died from an overdose of the hospital sedative propofol, which he was taking as a sleeping aid.
Murray has pleaded not guilty to the charge, with his defence team expected to argue that Jackson took the lethal dose himself, without the doctor's knowledge. Murray faces up to four years in jail if found guilty.
