Turkey, Israel trade turnover up

Turkey’s trade with Israel increased by $50.470 million and totaled at $529.936 million in April 2019, Turkish Ministry of Trade told Trend.

"Turkish exports to Israel in April 2019 amounted to $359.867 million, and imports from Israel amounted to $170.069 million," the ministry said.

It was noted that trade between Turkey and Israel in January-April 2019 decreased by $3.961 billion compared to the same period last year and amounted to $2.126 billion.

"In January-April 2019, Turkish exports to Israel amounted to $1.449 billion, while imports from Israel amounted to $677 million," the ministry said.

The total trade turnover of Turkey in April 2019 amounted to $33.377 billion.

During this period, Turkish exports increased by 5.38 percent compared to April 2018 and amounted to $15.273 billion.

In April 2019, imports from Turkey decreased by 14.62 percent compared to April 2018 and amounted to $18.104 billion.
