In January-August 2019, exports from Turkey’s Erzurum province to Azerbaijan increased by 20 percent compared to the same period of 2018, and amounted to $3.6 million, Trend reports referring to the Turkish media.
During the reporting period, Azerbaijan ranked first in terms of imports of goods from Erzurum province.
In January-August 2019, exports from Erzurum to Iraq amounted to $3.3 million, to the US - $2.4 million, to Georgia - $1.9 million.
The foreign trade turnover of Turkey in August 2019 amounted to $28.6 billion.
During this period, Turkish exports grew by 1.69 percent compared to August 2018, and amounts to $13.1 billion.
In August 2019, imports to Turkey decreased by 0.27 percent compared to the corresponding month of 2018 and amounted to $15.5 billion.
In January-August, Turkey’s trade turnover was $254.166 billion.
