In July 2019, trade turnover between Turkey and Turkmenistan increased by $44.238 million compared to July 2018, having amounted to $99.229 million, Trend reports referring to the Turkish Trade Ministry.
Turkish exports to Turkmenistan amounted to $74.420 million in July 2019, while imports from Turkmenistan equalled to $24.809 million.
The trade turnover between Turkey and Turkmenistan in January-July 2019 increased by $37.113 million compared to the same period in 2018 and amounted to $511.975 million.
During the reporting period, Turkish exports to Turkmenistan amounted to $359.519 million, while imports from Turkmenistan reached $152.456 million.
Turkish exports increased by 7.9 percent in July 2019 compared to the same month of last year and amounted to $15.16 billion, while imports decreased by 8.5 percent and amounted to $18.35 billion.
In July 2019, Turkey's foreign trade turnover amounted to $33.51 billion.
