From January through September 2019, Turkey's exports to the countries of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) increased by $5.6 percent compared to the same period of 2018 and exceeded $13.6 billion, Trend reports referring to the Turkish Trade Ministry.
Turkey's imports from the BSEC countries during the reported period decreased by 5.6 percent and amounted to just over $23.8 billion.
In September 2019, Turkey's exports to the BSEC countries grew by 8.5 percent, compared to the same period last year, and amounted to over $1.6 billion.
According to the ministry, in September 2019, Turkish imports from the BSEC countries increased by 1.8 percent compared to September 2018 and exceeded $2.5 billion.
Turkey’s foreign trade in September 2019 amounted to $32.1 billion.
In September 2019, Turkish exports grew by 0.08 percent compared to September 2018, and amounted to $15.2 billion.
Imports to Turkey increased by 0.15 percent and reached $16.9 billion.
From January through September, Turkey’s foreign trade amounted to $286.4 billion.
