The total value of the export of leather goods from Turkey to Azerbaijan in September 2021 increased, the Turkish Ministry of Trade told Trend.
According to the ministry, this figure amounted to $17.5 million, up by 4.9 percent on annual basis.
In the first nine months of this year, Turkey exported leather goods worth $119.5 million to Azerbaijan, which is a decrease of 5.3 percent compared to the same period of 2020.
Meanwhile, the total value of Turkish-made leather goods export abroad was 36.3 percent more than in 9M2020 - up to $10.3 billion
In September 2021, Turkey totally exported leather goods worth $1.28 billion to international markets, which is 20.7 percent more compared to the same month of 2020.
Over the last 12 months (from September 2020 through September 2021), Turkish exports of the mentioned goods equaled $13.8 billion.
