BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 5. The export of chemicals from Türkiye from January through July 2023 decreased by 15.3 percent compared to the same period last year and amounted to $16.7 billion, the Turkish Ministry of Commerce said, Trend reports.
"Türkiye exported chemicals worth $2 billion in July this year, which is 25.7 percent less than in July last year," said the ministry.
Türkiye exported chemicals worth $31.2 million in the last 12 months (June 2022 - June 2023).
Meanwhile, Türkiye's entire chemical export value declined from January to May 2023, totaling $12.3 billion, a 10.5 percent decrease year on year.
The country exported chemical products worth $32.1 billion from May 2022 to May 2023.
