The Culture and Tourism Ministry of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Tourism, Sport and Economy of San Marino signed an agreement to develop tourism ties.
Azerbaijani Culture and Tourism Minister Abulfas Garayev and Minister of Tourism, Sport and Economy of San Marino Fabio Berardi signed the document in Baku on Thursday.
According to Garayev, San Marino is a small country, but despite this, 50 percent of tourists coming to Italy visit this country.
San Marino's foreign policy supports enhancing of the country's tourism ties with Azerbaijan, he said.
According to Berardi, the tourism sector ranks third among the developed spheres in San Marino. This agreement will contribute to the establishment of tourism ties between San Marino and Azerbaijan, he said.
