BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 3. Startups from Azerbaijan represent a good investment opportunity for Hungary, Hungarian Ambassador Tamás Torma told Trend.
According to him, investing in the development of startups in Azerbaijan is promising and contributes to the strengthening of bilateral relations between Hungary and Azerbaijan.
"The development of startups is a promising area for strengthening relations between Azerbaijan, Hungary, and the rest of the Visegrád Group countries. Startups bring new ideas to our bilateral economic relations. The Visegrád Group countries and Azerbaijan should follow the path of developing this cooperation," he said.
He noted that Hungary and the other countries of the Visegrád Group should expand and deepen cooperation with Azerbaijan because these countries have a very good basis for the development of bilateral relations.
According to the ambassador, Azerbaijan has significant potential not only in the economic sphere and energy, in which cooperation is usually conducted but also in other areas.
Baku hosted an event dedicated to the implementation of the V4 startup program-Azerbaijan Tech Bridge (V4ATB) on June 2.
The aim of the project is to establish and strengthen cooperation between the Visegrád Group and Azerbaijan in the field of innovation by establishing links between participants in the startup ecosystem, such as innovation centers, private investors, venture funds, and corporations from the EU.
