The project on preservation of environment and local action plan was presented in Ganja on Thursday. Attending the event were representatives of the executive bodies and residents of the town, Trend reports.
The project is implemented under support of the U.S. Fund for Reserve of Environment and the Dutch government in the South Caucasus from May 2003. The object of the project is Ganga, Kutaisi and Ararat. $20,000 was allocated to the municipalities, $12,000 - nongovernmental organizations in this regard.
