The U.S. Embassy in Baku announced that the Azerbaijan Business Assistance & Development (ABAD) Program, supported by the U. S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented by the International Rescue Committee (IRC), will hold a ceremony for the opening of a vegetable cold storage unit in Goytepe, Jalilabad on 1 November, Trend reports.
The US Ambassador Derse and the Director of Elvin 2', Huseynov Agagulu, will present opening speeches at the ceremony.
The goal of the USAID-supported ABAD program is to assist in increasing trade so as to contribute to the long-term economic development and increase employment opportunities within the communities.
