BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 16. Türkiye increased its steel exports to Azerbaijan by 8.3 percent in January 2024 compared to the same period in 2023, up to $10.9 million, Trend reports, referring to Türkiye's Ministry of Trade.
The ministry also reported that Türkiye exported steel products worth $14.9 billion in the last 12 months (from January 2023 through January 2024).
Meanwhile, Türkiye's exports of steel products to global markets increased by 2.1 percent in January 2024 compared to the same month in 2023, totaling $1.12 billion.
To note, Türkiye's steel product exports decreased by 29.2 percent from January through December 2023 compared to the same period in 2022, totaling $14.9 billion.
