Long-Term Detention of Azerbaijani Soldiers in Armenia Breaks Geneva Convention

The Head of the Azerbaijan Society of Red Crescent, MP Novruz Aslanov, briefed the media that long-term detention of the Azerbaijan soldiers in Armenia breaks the Geneva Convention, Trend reports.

According to him, the health of the Azerbaijan soldier, Samir Mammadov, who is being presently kept in Armenia, is normal.

I don't know if the information that Mammadov does not want to return to Azerbaijan is real. We try to understand this issue, said Mammadov. He added that according to certain rules, the process of delivering the prisoners is realized by International Committee of the Red Cross.

Samir Mammadov has been kept in Armenian captivity for 50 days.
