Names of Two More Lost in Alat-Astara Highway Accident Revealed (edited)

Azerbaijan, Lankaran / Trend corr. P.Aliyeva / A serious traffic accident occurred in Azerbaijan in Lankaran region's Garmachuk village at the 207th kilometer of the Alat-Astara highway. A minibus (10-DZ-681) going to Baku ran into a KAMAZ (44-BG-640).

As a result of the accident two passengers of the KAMAZ died. The driver of the KAMAZ was a native of the Masalli region's Kosagul village, Jafarov Zahid Mahmudoglu, aged 43. The driver of the minibus also died - a native of Shilavar village, Niftiyev Shahab Niftioglu, aged 51.

Two people are reported lost: one is a resident of Binagadi District of Baku Aliyev Eldar Mirzaoglu, aged 52, and a resident of Sangarud village of Astara region of Azerbaijan, Malikov Elkhan Dadashoglu, aged 31.

The names of two more victims of the accident, presumed to be lost, have also just been revealed - Guliyev Elman Aliagaoglu, aged 32 and Hasanova Bakhriya Hasangizi, aged 42.

The casualty list is as follows:

1.    Tahmasib Askarov, born 1965, of the Vagu village, Astara region;

2.    Nizami Farajev, born 1961, of Baku;

3.    Mirzagha Aliyev, born 1962, of Panjar village, Astara region;

4.    Zamin Safarov, born 1962, of Kosagul village, Masalkli region;

5.    Azad Seyfullayev, born 1964, of Shiakaran village, Astara region;

6.    Shahzada Aliyeva, born 1944, of Astara;

7.    Eldar Mammadov, born 1951, of Lankaran;

8.    Heydar Aghayev, born 1976, of Lankaran;

9.    Suraya Mirzayeva, born 1959, of Kijaba village; and

10. Yalchin Rzayev, born 1972, of Shilavar village, Lankaran region.
