Traffic Incident in North-Western Azerbaijan Kills 3, Injures 7 People

Azerbaijan, Sheki, 4 August / corr. Trend S.Fataliyev / Three members of one family died as a result of traffic incident in 70km highway of Khaldan-Balakan, northwest Azerbaijan at 20.35PM on 3 August. VAZ 09 car with the state number of 55 ВЕ 570, which was driven by Rasim Rasulov, a resident of Sheki District, collided with the opposite Nissan Maxima model of car with 10 BC 004 state number, driven by Elshan Jafarov, a resident of Baku city.

As a result of the traffic incident, 35 year-old Tunzala Rasulova, a resident of Sheki District, died in the scene of incident. The rest members of the family, including 14 year-old Narmin Rasilova and Rasim Rasulov (a birth date is not determined) were taken to a hospital, whilst doctors could not save their lives. A total of seven people got different injuries in this incident. Injured people were taken to the central hospitals of Sheki and Gakh Districts.

The Sheki Police Department filed a suit on this incident and launched investigation into the case.
