Seven people detained with regard to armed incident in Azerbaijani city of Sumgait (UPDATE)

Seven people were detained in connection with an armed incident that took place yesterday in the Azerbaijani city of Sumgait, according to a joint statement by the Interior Ministry and Prosecutor General's Office of Azerbaijan.
A conflict broke out between a group of persons belonging to the Khawarij and Salafi extremist movements on Dec. 11 at about 20:30 in a tearoom located in the 10th district of Sumgait, according to the message.
The city's residents Anar Rahimov and Elmar Mammadli were stabbed during the incident.
Grenades and submachine guns were used during the conflict that continued in front of the tearoom. As a result of the conflict residents of the Teze Jorat settlement Elshan Musayev and Elnur Nazaraliyev got shrapnel wounds.
The bullets, fired from a submachine gun, hit in the nearest apartment and a car, but no one was injured.
