Serving in the N Military unit of Azerbaijani Goranboy region, Ashraf Guliyev committed suicide, by shooting himself.
The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry reported that Ashraf Jafaroglu Guliyev , aged 19 was drafted to the military service by the Military Commission of the Ali Bayramli region of Azerbaijan in July, 2006.
A criminal case has been filed over this issue by the Azerbaijani Military Prosecutor in compliance with article 125 (provocation of suicide).
