Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. S.Ilhamgizi / The Azerbaijani Government will not adopt a proposal to divide seats in the election commissions between five parties, said Arastun Mehtiyev, the deputy head of the public-political department at the Azerbaijani Presidential Administration.
The Azadlig Bloc, Musavat Party and Democratic Party of Azerbaijan (DPA) maintain their general positions concerning the issue of enacting changes in the election commissions. The composition of the commissions should be formed on an equal basis between the government and the opposition.
The present composition of election commissions includes representatives from the Government, opposition parties and neutral parties.
