Defense Ministries of Austria, Georgia to cooperate in mountain training

The Defense Ministries of Austria and Georgia plan to cooperate in the field of mountain training. The Georgian Defense Ministry reported that an agreement on it was reached during the visit of the Austrian military attache to the country's defense ministry.
The visit aimed to begin cooperation between the military ministries of the two countries in the field of mountain training. Colonel Thomas Rapats met with the head of department of international relations of the Euro-Atlantic integration, Mariko Laliashvili.
The sides discussed prospects for future cooperation in the sphere of security and deepening of bilateral cooperation.
During the visit, the sides will meet with the Commander of Land Forces, Colonel Shmagi Telia, as well as with the Commander of scientists and education, Vice-Colonel Lasha Beridze.
Austrian Military Attaché will leave Georgia on Oct. 9.
