The President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received outgoing German ambassador Per Christopher Stanchina on June 28, AzerTAj state news agency reported.
The German ambassador praised Azerbaijan's development, saying the country had made great progress under President Ilham Aliyev.
Per Christopher Stanchina also stressed the fact the world community's attention towards the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict had increased.
President Ilham Aliyev praised the Azerbaijan-Germany relations, saying they were successfully developing and based on strong partnership principles. The Azerbaijani leader also hailed reciprocal high-level visits.
President Ilham Aliyev expressed confidence the two countries` relations would continue to strengthen.
The President wished the ambassador successes in his future activities.
