President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has sent a congratulatory letter to Governor General of Canada Ms. Michaëlle Jean on the country's public holiday - Canada Day, AzerTAj state news agency reported.
In the letter, the President praised the current level of development between Azerbaijan and Canada. The President expressed assurance that "we will steadily continue joint efforts towards strengthening friendly relations and deepening cooperation both bilaterally and within international organizations"
President Ilham Aliyev wished the Governor General of Canada robust health, successes in her activity and friendly people of Canada peace and prosperity.
