French President Nicolas Sarkozy noted the importance of relations with Azerbaijan.
France attaches great importance to its relations with Azerbaijan. It hopes that relations between the two countries will continue to develop, Sarkozy said at a meeting with Azerbaijani ambassador to France Elchin Amirbeyov, ambassador told Trend.
Today Azerbaijani Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador presented his credentials to President Sarkozy at the Elysee Palace in France.
