All issues arising between Azerbaijan and the Council of Europe should be discussed, the PACE President Jean-Claude Mignon said on Monday during the meeting with the members of the committee of the Milli Mejlis (Parliament) of Azerbaijan on international relations and inter-parliamentary relations in Baku.
He also said relations with Azerbaijan are of particular importance for them.
Mignon, who is also a member of the France-Azerbaijan inter-parliamentary friendship group, said the group is very active.
"I am pleased with the current level of relations between the parliaments of France and Azerbaijan," Mignon said.
The chairman of the committee on international relations and inter-parliamentary relations, the head of the Azerbaijani delegation to PACE Samad Seyidov noted during the meeting that the Council of Europe is a very important organization for Azerbaijan, adding that the relations between Azerbaijan and the Council of Europe are on the rise.
