By Nargiz Sadikhova - Trend:
In fact, where there is France, there is no peace and tranquility, Algerian journalist, professor of political science Mohammed Dakhouche told Trend.
Dakhouche said that historically, any conflict in which France acted as a mediator was aggravated even more.
"History testifies to the fact that any conflict in the settlement of which France acted as a mediator was initially doomed to further settlement development. France's participation leads to an escalation of conflicts, because France never keeps neutrality. It always takes someone else's side, or rather, the side that is beneficial for France," he said.
He noted that in Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, no matter how France tries to appear neutral, it politically supports Armenia, which is completely unacceptable.
"As you know, Azerbaijan and Turkey are important partners in the region and no country has the right to question this union. Despite the fact that we are in Algeria, we understand very well that all France's efforts are aimed at destabilizing the situation in the region," he said.
Dakhouche also added that everyone remembers what France did in Mali.
"We see what France is doing in the Mediterranean purely because of its energy interests. In fact, France established a new front, supporting Armenia, against our brothers in Azerbaijan. France has never been the source of peace and will never be," he said.
Dakhouche added this will be the case until the ideology of the colonial metropolis is eliminated in French policy.
