The Forum of World Azerbaijani Intelligentsia held in the Turkish resort city Antalia has become an important event in the history of Diaspora, Nazim Ibrahimov, the chairman of the State Committee on Work Azerbaijanis Residing Abroad, told Trend special correspondent in Turkey.
He said that a meeting of the Diaspora organizations held in Antalia assumes special importance for their future activities. Representatives of Diaspora, who assembled in Turkey for several days, coordinated their future activities.
The ideas will be used for future development of Diaspora. The events held over the past several days enable to assert that the gathering of Azerbaijanis residing in different world countries is profitable for our major activities, he stressed.
Ibrahimov said that there exists necessity for conduct of similar meetings in different countries.
