Igdir Offers to Liquidate Visa Regime on Turkish-Azeri Borders

The Governor of Igdir Province of Turkey, Saffet Karakhisarli, briefed the media that the Turkish-Azerbaijani borders between Igdir and Nakchivan may be without visa, Trend reports.

According to him, Igdir is interested that the border with Nakchivan becomes without visa and the inhabitants of the region pass the border with passports or identity cards. The Governor said that Igdir has already made such a proposal, adding that this proposal remains as initiative yet.

In addition, Karakhisarli highlighted the interest in developing the relations between the entrepreneurs and joint investment activities, as well as establish relations in the sphere of youth, sport and culture.
