Azerbaijan, Baku / Тrend corr S. Ilhamgizi / The State Committee on Family, Woman, and Child Affairs is attempting to coordinate the activities of the state departments dealing with gender problems, the Chairwoman of the State Committee, Hijran Huseynova, told Trend on 14 September.
According to her, the State Committee established a coordinating council of the organizations dealing with problems of children and plans to establish a similar one to tackle women's problems. "There are sectors in state bodies which deal with gender problems. In the near future we will carry out joint arrangements with the appropriate bodies working in each of these fields," she added.
