Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. К.Ramazanova / Azerbaijani police have withdrawn a total of thousand books from sale, Misir Mardanov, the Minister of Education said to journalists.
Mardanov said : books must be distributed free of charge. The sellers are jailed. The investigation is in process.
In 2006 some AZN 6mln has been allocated for implementation of the projects 'Reduction of poverty and economic development', and 'Rules on editions and distribution of books for secondary schools'.
