Monitorings over TV Channels in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan, Baku, 18 January / Trend corr. E.Mmmadov / The monitoring was launched over the TV channels in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (NAR) of Azerbaijan in order to prevent broadscasting of films in foreign languages.

"Periodically monitorings will be held over the channels in order to provide more quality and interest programs," Sahil Tahirli, a member of the NAR National Council on TV Broadcasting, stated to Trend on 18 January.

There are two TV and radio channels in NAR.

The National Council on TV Broadcasting of Azerbaijan imposed ban on broadcasting of films in foreign languages from 1 January.

The Kanal-35 is broadcasting some programs in the Turkish language in NAR. This fact will also been removed within a year.
