Azerbaijan, Baku, 29 August / Trend , corr. R.Ergun/ German chief coach of Azerbaijan National Football Team, Berti Fogts, was satisfied only with the first one hour of the friendly match with Iran.
"Unfortunately, we could not use the goal episodes. Still Azerbaijani football players can not play with speed," German coach said to press conference on 29 August.
Azerbaijani National Team lost the game with a score of 0:1 during the match in Azadi Stadium in Iran's capital of Tehran. This game was training for the selection stage of the 2010 world championship.
National Team of Azerbaijan will hold its first match in the selection stage against Wales on 6 September during the visit.
Fogts said that Azerbaijani football players should not make mistake during match in Wales. "If we do not make mistake in Wales, can use goal episodes, we will gain victory. Currently I am interested only in the match in Wales," the chief coach said.
Fogts said that he does not mediate in inviting chief coach to Neftchi Football Club.
"Even I do not know who the chief coach of Neftchi is. I am not aware of information on this provided by the press," he said.
Currently the position of chief coach of Neftchi is vacant. The new chief coach is reported to be from Germany.
