The Azerbaijani national football squad's head coach believes that his team will play some lively football with Finland in the qualifying match for the World Cup 2010.

"The team is physically ready, and I expect the match to be at high-speed for all 90 minutes. In general, we prefer a defensive match," the German Head Coach of the Azerbaijani team, Berti Vogts, said at a news conference held after the national team trained at the Lankaran City Stadium.

The Finnish national squad, which on Sept. 5 will meet with the Azerbaijani team at the Lankaran city stadium as part of the qualifying stage of World Cup 2010, will arrive in Baku tomorrow. At present, Azerbaijan's national team has scored one point in its group of the qualifying round.

Vogts said their main goal is to win, mistakes cannot be made. "We hope that this match will be played as a team. Footballers should insure one another's faults," said the German.

According to Vogts, they expect great support from fans at the match with Finland.
