The Azerbaijani Serious Crimes Court sentenced the Iranian residents, Bekhduda Amiri and Rakhman Zaman to 15 years imprisonment, the court told Trend News on Sept.10.

The Azerbaijani Court sentenced the Iranian residents accused of drug trafficking to 30 years imprisonment in total. 

The Azerbaijani Serious Crimes Court sentenced the Iranian residents, Bekhduda Amiri and Rakhman Zaman to 15 years imprisonment, the court told Trend on Sept.10.

The Iranian citizens are accused of the Article 206.2 (smuggling) and 234.4.1 and 234.4.3 (illegal manufacturing, purchase, storage, transportation, transfer or selling of narcotics, psychotropic substances) of the Azerbaijani Criminal Code.

The officials seized 26 kilograms and 147 grams of heroine, 13 kilograms and 935 grams hashish, 5 grams of cocaine and 1.2 grams opium.

The Azerbaijani Interior Ministry's Drug Enforcement Department arrested the accused at the house that rented in the Narimanov district of Baku, on May.20, 2009.
