Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of Council of Europe highly assessed the work carried out in Azerbaijan to improve municipalities.
At a meeting with Deputy Justice Minister of Azerbaijan Vilayat Zahirov, the President of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of Council of Europe Ian Micallef approved the measures to strengthen the role of national associations, town, village and rural municipalities, as well as hoped for the active participation of Azerbaijan in the Conference on climate change to be held in December in Copenhagen.
The Deputy Minister informed the guest about the activities, aimed at improving the activities of municipalities and improvement of national legislation.
