An appeal of soldiers accused of treason was not granted, Ganja Court of Appeal told Trend .
The accused individuals were arrested Oct.18, 2009.
The soldiers were forced to spy for Armenia by their commander. They leaked information about the positions of the Azerbaijani army and planned attacks.
According to the verdict of the Military Court for Serious Crimes, Khagani Jafarov and Elchin Mammadov were sentenced to 15 years imprisonment, Suleyman Aliyev and Samir Tagiyev to 12 years and Rashad Abishev was sentenced to two years of correctional work.
