Azerbaijani Ombudsman has made an appeal to the Interior Minister for conducting an investigation on the facts of rough police actions against the chairman and members of the Musavat Party during their visit to the Alley of Martyrs on Jan. 20.
Chairman of the young wing of the Musavat Party Tural Abbasli complained to the Ombudsman Elmira Suleymanova about the rough police actions against the chairman and members of the Musavat Party during their visit to the Alley of Martyrs, the press-service of Ombudsman told Trend.
The Ombudsman in her letter to the Interior Minister requests to investigate the facts contained in the complaint, take appropriate measures and conduct explanatory work with policemen to prevent similar cases in the future, as well as report on the results of explanatory work.
