Baku will host 18th championship in rhythmic gymnastics on Feb. 4-5. The competition will be attended by up to 100 gymnasts, representing the capital society, said the press service of Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation.
Along with the young athletes of Baku Gymnastics School and Republican comprehensive sports schools 'Neftchi' and 'Tyahsil', 'Spartacus' and 'Syarhyadchi', the representatives of sports society and the foster children of Youth Creativity Center of Nizami district of Baku will attend the championship.
Participants of the tournament will be divided into six age groups (1996-1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002 and 2003 birth) and will match in the round.
The competition will also involve 10 group teams of gymnasts born in 2001-2003 birth. They will perform their exercises without a subject. The competitions will begin on Feb. 4 at 10.00, Feb. 5 - at 11.00 at the Olympic Sports Complex in Baku.
