The Anti-Corruption Office under the Prosecutor General's Office of Azerbaijan is investigating the criminal cases with regards to the seven municipalities, the head of the Office Kamran Aliyev told Trend.

He said the Office has filed criminal cases on corruption against municipalities of Hidirli village of Salyan district, Turan - Sheki, Gazbinya - Balaken, Tuttle - Agstafa, Garabulag - Khizi, Gushchu - Dashkesan, Madrassa - Shamakhi district.

Officials of these municipalities are charged with abuse of authorities and other crimes.
Since the beginning of the year, the Office has completed the investigation of criminal cases in the eight municipalities, and they were sent to the court, said Aliyev.
