Investigators of Azeri Interior Ministry Found Traces of Stealing in IMF Office

The employees of Head Investigation Department of the Interior Ministry of Azerbaijan found traces of the crime on February 3-4, 2007, as a result of which the unknown thieves stole 4 computer system blocks containing the database from the Baku office of the International Monetary Fund, Trend reports quoting the Head Investigation Department.

Admittedly the thieves broke into the office via the window, located on the third floor of the Finance Ministry of Azerbaijan. The loss became known only on February 5 when the employees of IMF came to work.

According to the information provided by the IMF, the office will be brought into working condition by the end of this week through auxiliary computers. And the lost database will be restored through the servers of IMF Headquarter in Washington.
