Azerbaijan, Baku / corr Trend A.Gasimova / A rock art landscape in Azerbaijan was added on 29 June to UNESCO's list of world heritage sites.
At he same time Roman-era fortified palace in Serbia and a university campus in Mexico were also added to UNESCO's list of world heritage sites.The World Heritage Committee said the Gobustan rock art cultural landscape of central Azerbaijan is "an outstanding collection of some 6,000 rock engravings bearing testimony to 4,000 years of rock art."
