A number of Russian companies will make specific decisions on establishing their production facilities in Azerbaijan by the end of 2021, Russian Trade Representative in Azerbaijan Ruslan Mirsayapov told Trend.
The trade representative office provides assistance to companies that came to Azerbaijan as part of a business mission under the authority of EXIMBANK of Russia JSC.
"These companies are currently negotiating with local partners on the creation of production and service centers in Azerbaijan, as well as on developments in the IT sphere,” he said.
“These companies pay great attention to the opportunities provided by the government of Azerbaijan. They have the opportunity to implement projects in the free economic zone and in industrial parks. By the end of 2021, several Russian companies will already make concrete decisions not only on the formation of sales offices but also on the creation of local localization," the trade representative added.
Azerbaijani entrepreneurs also have good opportunities to create production facilities in many Russian regions, he noted.
