BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 31. A total of nine local and foreign companies have resident status in Azerbaijan’s Aghdam Industrial Park, the press service of the Azerbaijani Agency for the Development of Industrial Zones told Trend.
According to the press service, the entire territory of the industrial park has been cleared of mines and unexploded ordnances [planted by Armenian armed forces during occupation of Aghdam district].
"The areas of activity of residents cover various areas, including maintenance of heavy equipment, the production of solar-powered lampposts. The territory of the industrial park is 190 hectares," the press service said.
Besides, the press service noted that the residents of the industrial park are Dadash-N LLC (production of synthetic carpets), Veliev LLC (production of reinforced concrete products), Ag Tekstil LLC (production of special and individual clothing), Prof-Dam LLC (production of roofing materials), Metcons LLC (production of ventilation, fire-fighting equipment and metal products).
The list of the park residents also includes Agah Group LLC (production of metal profiles and warehouse racks), representative office of the free zone with limited liability Expert Services FZE (UAE) in Azerbaijan (maintenance of heavy equipment), Smartpoint LLC (production of lampposts powered by solar energy), Ram International Transport and Trade LLC (manufacturing of polymer products), added the press service.
