BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 12. Azerbaijan's foreign trade turnover (given the statistical cost of crude oil and natural gas, the customs clearance of which wasn’t completed) increased from January through July 2022, Trend reports via the State Statistical Committee.

According to the committee, this figure amounted to $30.6 billion, up by 71.7 percent in actual prices and by 7.2 percent in real terms on annual basis.

A total of $23.15 billion of the foreign trade turnover fell on export ($12.3 percent more than in the first seven months of 2021), and $7.49 billion – on imports (a decrease of 2.3 percent).

The balance of Azerbaijan’s foreign trade turnover from January through July this year, while remaining positive, exceeded $15.6 billion.

During the reporting period, legal entities and individuals in Azerbaijan conducted trade operations with partners from 170 countries. Totally, Azerbaijan exported its products to 114 countries and imported them from 156 countries.
