BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 17. Azerbaijan has decreased propylene manufacturing by 11.8 percent to 105.2 thousand tons (including 100.6 thousand tons for the production of commercial propylene) from January to October 2022 in comparison with the same rate of the previous year, Trend reports citing the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan.
During the accounting period, Azerbaijan produced 449,3 thousand tons of methanol, a 54.2 percent increase over the previous year's rate.
In comparison to the same period in 2021, ethylene production in Azerbaijan has decreased by 22% to 109 thousand tons.
The manufacturing of polyethylene in Azerbaijan during the accounting period of 2022 was 105.2 thousand tons, which is 23.8 percent less than the same rate of the previous year.
