BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 2. Digitalization of insurance contracts for compulsory property insurance has been completed, and this represents an important step in optimizing the work of insurance companies and ensuring convenience for customers, insurance expert Kamran Babayev told Trend.

“However, there is a clear need to improve the work of independent experts and the legislative framework in this direction at the same time," he said.

“We are facing problems in assessing damage by independent experts, as well as insufficient clarity of the law, which creates additional difficulties in choosing an independent expert, paying for his services, and other aspects of the interaction between insurance companies and customers," he added.

According to the insurance expert, it is also recommended to introduce certain requirements for car services that cooperate with insurance companies and develop criteria that they must meet in order to solve these problems.

"This approach will improve the quality of provided services and improve the customer experience. Moreover, the Central Bank is actively working to improve the legislative framework in the insurance industry. Thanks to these efforts, we can expect positive changes in the insurance market in the future,” Babayev said.

“It is necessary to constantly work on improving the service and invest in the digitalization of processes and services in order to maintain the competitiveness of companies. These are investments in the future that will allow insurance companies to successfully adapt to changing market requirements and provide a better experience for their customers," he added.
