BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 16. Azerbaijani citizens purchased 336 real estate objects in Türkiye from January through May 2023, which is 43 objects less compared to the same period last year, Trend reports.
According to the Turkish State Body for Land Inventory and Sale of Real Estate, Azerbaijani citizens purchased 336 real estate objects in Türkiye in April of this year, which is 181 objects less in comparison with April 2022.
A total of 113,276 apartments were purchased in Türkiye in May 2023, which is 7.7 percent less than in May 2022. While 482,143 apartments were purchased there from January through May 2023.
These figures are 16.3 percent lower compared to the same period of 2022.
As many as 3,167 apartments were sold to foreign citizens in Türkiye in May 2023, which is 46.9 percent less in comparison with the same period of 2022. Foreign citizens purchased 16,650 apartments in Türkiye from January through May of the same year, which is 37.8 percent less than in the same period last year.
