BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 10. The US Energy Information Administration (EIA) forecasts Middle Eastern oil production to reach 3.28 mb/d in 2025, Trend reports.
This outlook indicates a growth of 0.11 mb/d in regional output compared to the estimated 3.17 mb/d for 2024.
Breaking down the forecast, the region's output is expected to reach 3.23 mb/d in the first quarter of 2025, with a slight uptick to 3.25 mb/d in the second quarter. It is projected to further climb to 3.31 mb/d in the third quarter and peak at 3.35 mb/d in the fourth quarter of 2024.
Qatar, a significant producer in the region, is anticipated to maintain steady output levels at 1.91 mb/d throughout 2025, marking a slight increase of 0.05 mb/d from the 2024 figures (1.86 mb/d).
Meanwhile, Oman, ranking second, is projected to experience a modest year-on-year increase in its liquids output, reaching 1.07 mb/d by the end of 2025, compared to the estimated 1.02 mb/d for 2024.
