Azerbaijan, Baku /corr. Trend A.Badalova / People living on land which has not been registered by the State Real Estate Register Service of Azerbaijan will not be evicted, said the Head of the Service, Arif Garashov.
"This land is considered the living area of people and they are not envisaged to be evicted," Garashov said. According to him, this issue will be regulated on the basis of active legislative acts, which envisages assessment of property and offering compensation.
Garashov said that the amount of unofficial land in Azerbaijan is much more than those in other CIS countries, but their exact number is not clear.
