Korea intends to strengthen overall cooperation with Azerbaijan. "Following the policy of developing international cooperation, Korea intends to develop bilateral relations with Azerbaijan and has selected 30 countries, including Azerbaijan, as the priority partners," Ambassador of Korea to Azerbaijan Lee Ji-Ha briefed the media on March 4.
Unlike Azerbaijan, Korea does not possess such volumes of natural resources, but has great human potential. "In terms of shipbuilding, automotive and computer technology, Korea is one of the most developed countries in the world," the diplomat said.
Over these years, we had cooperation mainly in the transport and construction sector, he said.
"Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev expressed the idea to work together in the field of development of alternative energy sources and between the two countries have identified several mechanisms of cooperation," the diplomat said.
