The Azerbaijani company Food Trade, which imports food products from Lithuania, plans to increase imports of dairy products of the Svalya brand for the sale in the domestic market, a source in the company told Trend.
The company sells about 10-12 tons of Lithuanian products each month, according to the source.
“In the summer season, as a rule, the sales volume decreases, but starting from autumn, this figure starts to increase,” the source noted. “In the winter and autumn season, sales exceed 12 tons per month. The highest demand is for cheeses of the Svalya brand, which belong to the premium class and are more expensive compared to local products.”
The source added that since the beginning of the year, sales of the products made in Lithuania increased by 12-15 percent, compared to the same period last year.
The source said that the company expects to increase sales by up to 20 percent by the end of this year.
