Australian AXG Mining Limited was entitled to conduct geological exploration of firm minerals in 21.650 square kilometer area of Turkmenistan, the company said.
Explorations will cover secondary and upper Paleozoic periods in prospective country's regions - Tuvergyr and Koytendag.
Besides hydrocarbon resources, over 160 firm minerals fields, including celestin, coal, sulfur, mineral salt, kaolin, bentonite, ozokerite, mineral paint and carbonate were explored in Turkmenistan.
